Lorenzo Mangili - Herm of the Genius loci

Situated at the entrance to the owner’s apartment, the sculpture “decorates,” conforming to the “pandering” spirit of the pre-existing architecture.  It encompasses a small, welcoming “still life,” comprised of an olive branch taken from the place and rendered imperishable by its conversion into bronze in the lost wax process.  Memorial to a past rite.
