Hamish Fulton was born in London in 1946. He lives and works in Canterbury, England. Since 1969 he has walked through England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Lapland, Iceland, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Nepal, Bolivia, India, Australia, Japan, Argentina, and Tibet.
Group walks: C.C.A Kitakyushu, Japan - 14 walkers (1994); Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como - 26 walkers (1998); Domaine De Chamarande, France - 23 walkers, with Christine Quoiraud (2002).
